Dont be surprised to hear strains of live Jazz music when you step into Avalon. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, this restaurant is a venue for local jazz musicians. The menu, which is an ebullient mix of fine dining and regular fare, features an array of Continental cuisine - served indoors or outdoors (the outdoor patio is much prettier). Avalon has built a reputation for serving the best of fish dishes in the area - check out the Pan Seared Duck Breast, Roast Chicken Breast and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. The Sunday brunch offers a prix fixe menu and starts with the soup of the day followed by the Avalon Picnic Plate - an assortment of cheese and homemade pate with toasties.
